Susana Canosa was born in Madrid, Spain.

She has three children aged 26, 24 and 21. She has a degree in psychology from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. After completing her Masters in Human Resource Management studies in the United States, she decided to pursue the artistic career. A merit scholarship from the Cleveland Institute of Art (Ohio) allows her to begin training in Fine Art. In New York she studied with artists Don Stacey and Anthoney Toney. In Connecticut she works and studies with artist Constance Kiermaier. In 2003 she becames a permanent member of the “Silvermine Guild of Artists” (New Canaan, Connecticut). In Italy she worked with Nicola Sene at the International Graphics Center in Venice and with Silvio Lacasella and Giacomo Modolo at the Cignaroli Academy in Verona.

After spending 33 years abroad, between America and Italy, she returned to her city, Madrid, where she currently lives and works.
